INTRODUCTION

Numerous studies have shown that the inclusion of ˝% to 2% clinoptilolite in animal feed rations helps  reduce
manure odor.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Size:  Granules 14 x 40, powder  -40 mesh, 60 cycle

FEEDING

  • Feeding is generally started with an inclusion rate of ˝% and can be worked up to 2% by weight of the
    total ration.

  • For pelletized feeds minus –40 mesh or 60 cycle BRZ™ is used.

  • For mash feeds, generally, 14x40, -40 mesh, or 60 cycle is used.

  • Benefits are found in feeding dairy cows, beef cattle, hogs, poultry, sheep, rabbits and other animals.

BENEFITS

ODOR CONTROL

Increasing legislation is mandating the control of odor. The most effective way to control odor is to feed BRZ™
in quantities of ˝% to 2% of the total ration. The
BRZ™ exchanges the ammonium cation in the alimentary track
before it gases to ammonia and creates odor.

FLOW AGENT / ANTI-CAKING AGENT

BRZ™ helps as a flow agent and anti-caking agent with urea and other oils.

INCREASED PELLET DURABILITY

BRZ™ allows higher temperatures at the pellet mill that reduce friction and allow higher production rates.
The increased temperature enhances gelatinization and creates a more durable pellet.

BRZ™ ADDS VALUE TO MANURE AND COMPOST

The introduction of BRZ™ with the manure, compost, or lagoon water that is added to the soil has the added
benefit of increasing water retention, holding the nitrogen and other micro-nutrients in the growth zone,
providing a medium for the future capture of nitrogen, increasing the ion exchange capacity of the soil,
providing potassium and calcium, and enhancing infiltration and aeration of the soil. BRZ™ is a value added soil amendment that should be advertised
.

GROUNDWATER POLLUTION CONTROL

Fixing the nitrogen and various heavy metals reduces the pollution of the groundwater.
